Nitto Denko's revenue and operating profit for the half-year ended September 2026 were JPY 558 billion and JPY 106 billion, respectively, 9% and 12% higher than the prior year. Full-year guidance is unchanged, but expected segment contributions now differ.

Nitto Denko's revenue and operating income for the quarter ended June 2026 were JPY 272 billion and JPY 49 billion, respectively, which were 10% and 15% higher than the prior year. The company raised full-year guidance by 4%, targeting fiscal 2026 operating income of JPY 200 billion.

Nitto Denko's fiscal 2025 revenue was 1% higher than the prior year. But operating profit was 1% lower due to lower sales contribution from the higher-margin films business. Excluding foreign-exchange movements, group revenue and EBIT would have been higher than the prior year.

Nitto Denko reported revenue of JPY 786 billion in the first nine months to December 2025, up 1% from a year ago. Revenue growth in industrial tape and human life offset declines in the optronics segment. However, through adverse currency movements, operating income fell 3% to JPY 148 billion.
