Company Report

Tradeweb is a leading platform for electronically trading fixed-income products and derivatives. Unlike many competitors that focus on a particular bond type or market segment, Tradeweb offers a broad scope, trading nearly anything related to fixed income, including derivatives, as well as some equity exchange-traded funds. This strategy gives the company multiple growth drivers, benefits across trading segments, and reduced exposure to any single asset class.
Stock Analyst Note

We see strong strategic and financial logic to Tradeweb’s purchase of Trumid. The acquisition will likely make Tradeweb the market-share leader in US corporate bonds and extend the firm's reach into new-issue trading, an area where it has historically been underpenetrated.

Stock Analyst Note

Tradeweb posted strong second-quarter results thanks to strong trading volume across its asset classes. Total revenue increased 26.7% from last year to $513 million, although this does include some inorganic growth from the acquisition of ICD in 2024. Diluted EPS rose 29.1% to $0.71 in the quarter.

Stock Analyst Note

Wide-moat-rated Tradeweb Markets reported strong third-quarter results as it is seeing increasing market share and benefits from high trading volume industrywide. Net revenue increased 36.7% from last year and 10.8% from last quarter to $448.9 million. Diluted earnings per share increased 15.2% to $0.53, though this does include acquisition and integration costs from the purchase of ICD, which closed in August. As we incorporate these results, we do not expect to materially alter our $100 fair value estimate.
