Expeditors Named Gap Inc.’s 2025 Strategic Supplier of the Year for Operations Excellence
Recognition highlights more than four decades of partnership and reliable execution across Gap Inc.’s global supply chain.
Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (NYSE: EXPD) received Gap Inc.’s 2025 Strategic Supplier of the Year Award for Operations Excellence at the company’s 2026 Supplier Summit. The award recognizes Expeditors’ performance across customs brokerage, airfreight, container freight station (CFS), and inland transload operations, as well as its exceptional customer service. The recognition also highlighted Expeditors’ leadership in customs, compliance, and duty recovery related to tariffs imposed in 2025, delivering meaningful financial impact to Gap Inc.
Tim Hemmert, Gap Inc.’s Senior Vice President, Global Transportation, stated at the Supplier Summit: “We are proud to honor the suppliers who continued to demonstrate resilience and commitment. Throughout 2025, Expeditors delivered on that expectation with consistent execution and true partnership.”
What began with customs brokerage services more than 40 years ago has evolved into an integrated supply chain partnership. As Gap expanded internationally and its supply chain grew more complex, Expeditors’ role broadened to support the business across regions, transportation modes, and logistics services.
“Receiving this recognition is a tremendous honor,” said Adam Kord, Expeditors’ Senior Vice President, Global Ocean. “This achievement reflects our teams’ commitment to operational excellence and the strength of a partnership that has continued to grow since 1984. We are proud of what our teams have accomplished together, and we remain focused on delivering the service and expertise Gap needs as its supply chain continues to evolve.”
