Airbus Receives Order for Two A320neos From Atlantic Airways

By Mauro Orru

Airbus said it had received an order for two A320neo aircraft from Faroe Islands carrier Atlantic Airways to expand its fleet.

The European plane maker didn't disclose financial details, but said the order would support the airline's transition toward an all-A320neo fleet.

"Our ambition is to operate an exclusively A320neo aircraft fleet in the near future, and this agreement marks a significant step towards achieving that goal," Atlantic Airways Board Chairman Niels Mortensen said.
