Business Strategy and Outlook

RTX’s businesses include Collins’ aircraft components and systems, Pratt & Whitney’s engines, and Raytheon’s missiles, sensors, and communications offerings. The combined entity combines strong franchises in commercial aerospace and defense contracting and is unique for its relatively even split between commercial and defense revenue; most other firms in the industry are heavily skewed toward one or the other.
