Schwartz Investment Counsel—advisor to the Catholic-oriented Ave Maria funds—indicated in a filing on Oct. 26, 2026, that Ave Maria Rising Dividend would get new managers at the end of October. Longtime manager George Schwartz and firm CIO Brandon Scheitler will cede portfolio management duties to Tim Schwartz and Ryan Kuyawa. Tim is George Schwartz's son and the firm's current president and CEO; he and Kuyawa have run Ave Maria Value together since the start of 2021. As this change overhauls Ave Maria Rising Dividend's management team—and potentially modifies its approach—the strategy's Morningstar Medalist Rating is now Under Review.
